Job Description
- The candidate must assist health care practitioners during examinations and treatments.
- The candidate must assist in surgery.
- The candidate must participate in community program development.
- The candidate will be responsible for monitoring patients and notifying the physician of any changes in their condition.
- The candidate must participate in a community needs assessment.
- The candidate must assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
- The candidate must conduct disease screening.
- The candidate must deliver health education programs.
- The candidate must deliver immunization programs.
- The candidate must dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
- The candidate must operate or monitor medical equipment or apparatus.
- The candidate must be able to provide nursing care.

Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must have a Tracheostomy care training certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, CPR Certificate,ย be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province or territory of work, First Aid Certificate, and be licensed as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.

- The candidate must work in a physician’s office, private clinic, retirement home, or long-term care center.
- The candidate should work in public or community health centre providers, or may work in medical clinics, community health centres, and allied health practices, such as physiotherapy and podiatry practices.
