Job Description

  • The candidate must assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
  • The candidate must discipline children using the methods specified by the parents.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate will be responsible for organizing activities for children, such as games and outings.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for children.
  • The candidate must take children to and from school and to appointments.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate must help children with their homework.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
  • Panjabi and Tagalog are considered asset languages.
  • The candidate must have a CPR and First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate should be organized and flexible.
  • The candidate must be capable of acting independently and taking the initiative.
  • The candidate should have good judgmental skills.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
