Job Description

  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
  • The candidate must discipline children using the methods specified by the parents.
  • The candidate will be responsible for instructing children in personal hygiene and social development.
  • The candidate must maintain records of daily activities and health information for the children.
  • The candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
  • The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and caring for children.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the emotional well-being of children.
  • The candidate will be responsible for helping children with homework.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have a CPR Certificate and a First Aid Certificate.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.
  • The candidate must have patience.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in optional accommodation, an adjustment to a job or work environment that makes it possible for an individual with a disability to perform their job duties.
  • The employee should be able to work in the employer’s or client’s home and can work at various site locations. The annual review determines the specific period of progression.
