Job Description

  • Deal Leader Specialist is a full time management position focused on leading complex enterprise technology deals.
  • The role follows a hybrid work model with at least 3 office days each week.
  • The position is available in Ottawa, Montréal and Quebec City with regular full time hours.
  • The role involves leading proposal planning, solution development and business strategy.
  • You will work with sales, technical and business teams to deliver customized client solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall strategy and planning for complex customer proposals.
  • Guide cross functional teams to develop tailored technology solutions.
  • Prepare executive presentations and lead internal governance discussions.
  • Present solution proposals with the sales team and support customer meetings.
  • Define customer requirements and guide technical and operational planning.
  • Review pricing, financial models and business cases before approval.
  • Recommend pricing strategies that support business growth.
  • Assess project risks and agree on suitable risk management plans.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing and contracts with suppliers and customers.
  • Work with legal, finance, product and other partners to complete customer agreements.

Requirements

  • Have work background leading virtual teams across technical, operations, finance and sales functions.
  • Bring strong knowledge of financial models, costing, pricing and contract management.
  • Show creative thinking and solve business challenges with practical solutions.
  • Bring excellent decision making skills and can review both overall goals and small details.
  • Be self motivated and can manage multiple priorities with little supervision.
  • Have extensive work background leading large and complex projects.
  • Have at least 7 years of work background in Telecommunications or Information and Communications Technology with strong knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
  • Can lead change across the company.
  • A University degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is preferred or bring relevant consulting, telecommunications or IT work background.
  • Work background in a business to business environment is considered an asset.
  • Federal Government of Canada Security Clearance is considered an asset.
  • For Quebec positions, bring adequate knowledge of French.
