Job Description

Candidates working at this post are required to operate production equipment and check performance with the knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures working at this post.
They’re also appointed at this post to perform regular work orders and account for inventory and labour on a computerized maintenance program working at this post.
Candidates at this post are required to read and understand mechanical schematics at this post.
They’re also required for machining and fabricating for equipment repairs or upgrades.
They’re appointed at this post to enhance equipment performance, recommending improvements and implementing.
Candidates at this post are required to understand and adhere to all plant Food Safety and Health and Safety Policies working at this post.

Job requirement

They must hold a valid Millwright Journeyperson Certificate to be eligible for this post.
Candidates must have Red Seal certification and a dedicated 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment to be preferred for this post.
They must acquire extensive mechanical knowledge including power transmission, pneumatics and hydraulics.
Candidates for this post must have prior knowledge of conveyors, industrial or stationary engines, pumps or compressors, grinders, and welding equipment to be eligible for this post.

Work setting

Candidates must be highly motivated and must be able to work well in a team and alone with minimal supervision.

They must have a sense of urgency and attention to detail to be eligible for this post.
