Job description

• The candidate will be required to supervise workers.
• The candidate will be required to supervise projects.
• The candidate will be required to set up machines.
• The candidate will be required to set up equipment.
• The candidate will be required to requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• The candidate will be required to look after the materials, equipment and supplies.
• The candidate will be required to ensure that the health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate will be required to handle Computer numerical control (CNC) machines.
• The candidate will be required to co-ordinate activities.
• The candidate will be required to schedule activities.
• The major work area is Fabrication and Shopwork.
• The candidate will be required to prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate will be required to operate CADD.
• The candidate will be required to operate other computer software systems.
• The candidate will be required to estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate will be required to supervise workers.
• The candidate will be required to provide training for the workers.
• The candidate will be supervising Welders; Sheet metal workers; Apprentices.
• The candidate will be required to have Industry Experience in Metal products manufacturing.
• The candidate must own Steel-toed safety boots and Hard hat.
• The candidate will be required to be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.

• The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The candidate should have an experience of at least 2 year to less than 3 years.
• The candidate should have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate should have interpersonal awareness.
• The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
• The candidate should be able to manage tight deadlines.
• The candidate should be able to work under pressure.
• The candidate should be able to handle repetitive tasks.

• The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it.
