Job Description

• The candidate must clean meats in preparation for processing or cutting.
• The candidate must cut carcasses, sides, and quarters.
• The candidate must cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat.
• The candidate must remove the bones from the meat.
• The candidate will have to cut poultry into pieces.
• The candidate will have to grind meats.
• The candidate will be required to prepare special orders.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.

Work setting

• The candidate will be required to work in a butcher shop.

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have prior experience with a band saw, manual cutting tools, and a slicing machine.
