Job Description

• The candidate will be responsible for recording rental data.
• The candidate will be responsible for refueling vehicles.
• The candidate will be responsible for performing minor service and maintenance to vehicles.
• The candidate will be responsible for pumping boats’ marine septic systems.
• The candidate must receive payments from customers.
• The candidate will be responsible for performing minor property maintenance.
• The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the dock area and marina facilities.
• The candidate will be responsible for organizing and maintaining inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must have a Boat Handling Course Certificate, a First Aid Certificate, and a Driver’s license.
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate should be reliable.
• The candidate should be a good team player.

Work site environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in or on water.
• The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate will be required to work in both the marina and the industrial setting.
• The candidate should have an on-site customer service system where employees work in an office or business location.

• The candidate must have their own transportation.
• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.

Work conditions and physical capabilities

• The candidate should be able to work in fast-paced busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in sitting, standing, and walking positions.
• The candidate must have the ability to work independently.
