Job Description

  • A hands-on role focused on maintaining and repairing building systems and facilities
  • Full-time casual position with 40 hours per week, on-site work setup
  • Includes general upkeep, minor repairs, and supporting smooth facility operations
  • Work environment involves physical tasks and independent work
  • May involve supervising workers and maintaining safety standards

Responsibilities

  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling and ventilation and plumbing and electrical systems
  • Contact tradespersons for major repair work
  • Perform minor appliance repairs
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Supervise other workers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walking ways and parking areas
