Job Description
- The candidate will be expected to clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds.
- The candidate must spread sand or salt on sidewalks to prevent snow and ice.
- The candidate will be required to collect and load refuse on garbage trucks.
- The candidate will be expected to assist with routine equipment maintenance and repair.
- The candidate must load and unload trucks carrying supplies and equipment.
- The candidate will be required to shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces with shovels, rakes, and hand tampers.
- The candidate will be required to sweep debris and remove snow from streets, sidewalks, building grounds, and other areas, as well as load snow and debris into carts or trucks.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Training will be provided to the selected candidate.
- The candidate must be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs).
Work site environment
- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The candidate must be able to work in dusty, hot, and wet/damp conditions.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

- The candidate will be required to work in various locations.
