Job Description
- Candidates are appointed to keep items and property secure at all times.
- Candidates are also appointed to fill out documentation and keep records.
- They’re also appointed to communicate with customers and the public.
- They’re appointed to load, unload and drive a Canada Post vehicle and also collect, sort and deliver mail items.
Job requirement
- Candidates must attain a valid Class 3 or D or Class 5 or G driver’s license with an Air Brake Endorsement.
- Candidates must have a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
- They must ensure experience in driving a 5-ton truck or other large vehicles, or in commercial delivery.
- Candidates must have the physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg.
- Candidates must ensure their availability to work on short notice.
Work setting
- Candidates must attain the ability to read, write and speak English and/or French.
