Job description
- Candidates will load, unload and drive a Canada Post vehicle in this post.
- They will collect, sort and deliver mail items.
- They will keep items and property secure at all times.
- They will fill out documentation and keep records.
- They will communicate with customers and the public.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have a valid Class 3 / D or Class 5 / G driver’s license with an Air Brake Endorsement.
- They must have a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
- They must have experience in driving a 5-ton truck or other large vehicles, or in commercial delivery.
- They must have physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb).
- They must have availability to work on short notice.
- They must have the ability to read, write and speak English and/or French.
