Job description
- All candidates have to start their day in the depot, sorting and preparing the day’s deliveries.
- Applicants also have to spend most of their day outside, delivering mail and also packages by foot or by vehicle to customers on your route.
- They are also responsible for returning to the depot to unload the day’s incoming mail and packages for later delivery.
- They will also have to meet new people and make their day.
Job requirement
- All applicants must hold a valid Class 5 or Class G driver’s licence with a safe driving record for at least 3 years.
- Experience in customer service would be an asset for candidates.
- Candidates must have the ability to work on-call.
- They also must have knowledge about languages like English and French.
Work setting
- All applicants must have physical fitness to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and also carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day.
- Candidates have to work in all types of weather.
- They also must have experience of making deliveries or working as a driver.
