Job Description
- The candidate must lead the design, development, and implementation of blended and digital learning programs for diverse audiences while applying best practices in adult learning and personalization strategies.
- The candidate must create immersive and engaging learning experiences, including in-person and virtual ILT sessions, labs, eLearning courses, videos, presentations, and user guides.
- The candidate must conduct needs analysis and discovery sessions to identify performance gaps, learning opportunities, and recommend AI-driven learning analytics solutions.
- The candidate must break complex systems and processes down into training modalities that are easily understood and retained by learners.
- The candidate must maintain and revise existing learning materials while considering audience needs, learning modality, and efficient delivery of learning objectives.
- The candidate must ensure all learning content adheres to organizational learning philosophy, technical specifications, and brand guidelines, with a focus on global audiences.
- The candidate must design branching scenarios, storyboards, and scripts and convert them into animated, interactive activities to support successful learning delivery.
- The candidate must establish and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners to meet project milestones in a dynamic environment.
- The candidate must collect and report on post-training metrics and incorporate feedback into future training iterations.
- The candidate must manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications for multiple concurrent projects, demonstrating adaptability and influence.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in learning or instructional design, including needs analysis and solution design for global and diverse audiences.
- The candidate must have experience building content for large-scale programs focused on functional onboarding, learning and development ecosystems, and technical training.
- The candidate must demonstrate experience delivering functional learning initiatives for audiences in finance, merchandising, supply chain, or technology.
- The candidate must demonstrate proven ability to align learning solutions with business outcomes, especially in performance-driven environments.
- The candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency with digital authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or equivalent, video creation tools including Premier Pro and Synthesia, and learning management systems.
- The candidate must have strong communication, organization, and project management skills to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, with demonstrated adaptability and stakeholder influence.
- The candidate must demonstrate advanced facilitation skills and experience delivering complex software training.
- The candidate must demonstrate curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging learning technologies, tools, and design trends, including microlearning, gamification, and adaptive learning.
- The candidate must have experience collaborating with subject matter experts and consulting with stakeholders on learning solution content and timeline.
- The candidate must hold a post-secondary degree in Instructional Design, Human Performance Improvement, Learning Technology, or a related field.
- The candidate must possess equivalent professional experience, which will also be considered.
- The candidate must provide a portfolio of work demonstrating measurable impact and innovation in learning design.
