Job Description
- Lead ERP Application Specialist supports SAP security and ERP application services for the City of Toronto.
- This is a full time permanent position based at Metro Hall in Toronto.
- The role follows a Monday to Friday routine with 35 work hours each week.
- The position supports SAP S/4HANA, SAP GRC, SAP Ariba and cloud based applications.
- The work setting includes leadership duties, technical guidance and support for large City projects.

Responsibilities
- Review SAP security roles, access levels and user provisioning activities.
- Assess segregation of duties risks and support compliance reviews.
- Supervise technical staff and review daily work activities.
- Your work involves preparing business cases, RFPs, RFQs and system documentation.
- Support audits and respond to internal and external review requests.
- Study business needs and recommend practical SAP solutions.
- Lead workshops and review business and system requirements.
- Maintain security standards for confidential City records and SAP systems.
- Coordinate system upgrades, releases and operational support tasks.
Requirements
- Extensive SAP security administration work background in complex SAP environments with roles, authorizations, access groups and provisioning.
- Solid background in SAP security architecture design and segregation of duties reviews.
- Work background in leading ERP application or SAP security projects through full system lifecycle stages.
- Work background in leading, coaching or guiding technical teams or project resources.
- Being well versed in SAP GRC Access Controls, MSMP workflows, BRF+, SAP Fiori, SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA is considered an asset.
- Can work independently and review complex technical and business issues with sound judgment.
- Strong interaction skills with the public, technical teams and cross functional partners.
