Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, sorted and properly zoned grocery department.
- Rotate products regularly and remove your expired or damaged items.
- Check that products are correctly priced, signed and labeled.
- Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns.
- Follow food safety, cleanliness and cleaning procedures.
- Stock shelves and restock products.
- Complete downstocking activities when required.
- Apply product protection measures when necessary.
- Set and complete modulars, flex modulars and shelf cap updates.
- Follow company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and clean free work environment.
Requirements
- Can remain productive during overnight work periods when required.
- Can stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Can bend, lift and move inventory, equipment or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Can complete repetitive duties such as stocking, zoning and product organization.
- Can maintain attention to detail when handling grocery products.
- Can follow food safety standards and workplace procedures.
- Can work with customers and team members in a professional manner.
