Job Description

• The candidate will be expected to assist with landscape construction.
• The candidate will be in charge of tying.
• The candidate must weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• The candidate must cut grass.
• The candidate will be expected to clean up litter and garbage.
• The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
• The candidate must lay sod or seed.
• The candidate will be expected to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• The candidate must apply fertilisers.
• The candidate will be expected to repair and maintain equipment.
• The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
• The candidate will be expected to perform waterproofing, damp proofing, and surface restoration.
• The candidate will be expected to repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
• The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• The candidate must level the top surface concrete according to the grade and depth specifications.
• The candidate will be expected to install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• The candidate will be expected to fill hollows and remove spots from freshly poured cement.
• The candidate must estimate costs.
• The candidate must apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• The candidate will be expected to inspect formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials, as well as direct the placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• The candidate must apply the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in wet/damp, dusty, hot and cold/refrigerated conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should be prepared to perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should have an eye for details.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in sitting, standing, and walking positions.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
