Job Description
- The candidate must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
- The candidate will be responsible for addressing customer complaints or concerns.
- The candidate will be responsible for enforcing provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
- The candidate will be responsible for advising on menu selection and recommendations.
- The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
- The candidate must greet customers, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and beverages.
- The candidate must be able to serve food and beverages.
- The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the French language.
- The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate has no supervision responsibilities.
- The candidate must have a Food and Beverage Server trade certificate, Smart Serve Certification and Food Safety Certificate.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in restaurants that are generally fast-paced and require the utmost efficiency.
- The candidate must work in a formal dining room, a catering firm and a pub.
- The candidate should be able to work in a school or educational institution/establishment that provides instruction and training in various subjects.
