WC Natural Pools, situated in Brackendale, BC V0N 1H0, is seeking applications for the job position of Landscape labourer who is enthusiastic and possesses excellent interpersonal skills. The shift timings for this position include the Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Flexible hours, and to be determined.

Job Description

  • The candidate must assist with landscape construction.
  • The candidate must rake and collect trash.
  • The candidate must remove garbage and litter.
  • The candidate must cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • The candidate must lay sod or seed.
  • The candidate must plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and bulbs.
  • The candidate must be able to maintain and repair equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for watering and maintaining plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • The candidate must remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • The candidate must load, unload, and transport construction materials.
  • The candidate must clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • The candidate must level earth to fine grade specifications.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • A candidate with experience is an asset.
  • The candidate must have a Driver’s License (Class 1 or A).
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

  • The candidate must have experience operating bobcats.

Equipment and machinery experience

  • The candidate must have experience operating chainsaws, front-end loaders, pick-up trucks, small engine equipment, skidsteers, and small front-end loaders.

Construction specialization

  • The candidate must be skilled in constructing stone garden walls, rock gardens, retaining walls, and ornamental ponds, fountains, and waterfalls.
