Job Description

  • The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • The candidate must confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace the unit.
  • The candidate will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.

  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must have an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.

  • The candidate must specialize in the area of engine repair, four-wheel drive systems, electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, diagnostics, alignment, steering and suspension, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, ignition and electrical systems, automatic and standard transmissions, engine repair and overhaul, drivetrain components, front-end components, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
