Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with key partners across the Store Support Center and Retail Operations to meet performance objectives and support the company vision.
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading department operations to meet established company SLAs (service level agreements).
  • The candidate will be responsible for leading strategic projects and assignments under the direction of the Distribution Center Manager and General Manager.
  • The candidate will be responsible for performing real-time audits of on-hand inventory as part of the SOX program.
  • The candidate will support the team in conducting investigations to resolve inventory inaccuracies within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing the budget with full accountability for operational labor and supply costs on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • The candidate will serve as a coach to the team by taking a hands-on role in employee development and talent pipeline growth through vision, goals, coaching, and feedback.
  • The candidate must lead safety initiatives and promote a safe and healthy workplace within the Distribution Center.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing employee performance, including UPH, attendance, vacation, employee separations, annual reviews, merit processes, and documentation.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in engineering, supply chain, logistics, operations, or relevant on-the-job experience.
  • The candidate must have 3 to 5 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess a high level of understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
  • The candidate must have the ability to understand and implement lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead and maintain a safe work environment.
  • The candidate must have the ability to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Operator Certification based on business needs.
  • The candidate must be flexible and adaptable to work schedules that may include nights, required holidays, some weekends, and occasional after-hours requirements.
  • The candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment as defined by the local distribution center.
  • The candidate must be available to work Sunday to Wednesday between 11:00 AM and 9:30 PM.
