The land component of the Canadian Armed Forces is the Canadian Army. We train and supply troops to protect and defend Canada.

The Canadian Army is in charge of the operational readiness of the Canadian Armed Forces’ conventional ground forces. The Royal Canadian Navy is Canada’s naval force. The Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) is one of three environmental commands in the Canadian Armed Forces. The RCN has 12 frigates, four attack submarines, 12 coastal defence vessels, eight patrol class training vessels, one offshore patrol vessel, and several auxiliary vessels as of 2021. The Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) is a branch of the Canadian Armed Forces. It defends and protects Canadian and North American airspace in collaboration with the US. Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to unpack received goods.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing requisition orders to replenish stock.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep track of the inventory levels of issued materials and stocks.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep stock rotating.
  • The candidate will be expected to dispose of and account for out-of-date inventory.
  • The candidate will be required to compile inventory reports.
  • The candidate will be required to verify receipts and packing slips.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform quality control.
  • The candidate will be expected to stock shelves.
  • The candidate will be required to use a computerised or manual inventory system to record the quantity, type, and value of stock on hand.
  • The candidate will be expected to pack items for shipping and distribution.
  • The candidate must reconcile physical inventories with computer counts.
  • The candidate will be expected to carry out routine clerical duties.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide customer service.
  • The candidate will be expected to perform a variety of administrative tasks.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping the shop and warehouse clean.
  • The candidate will be responsible for picking up and delivering materials.
  • The candidate must provide information on available materials.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping and updating records.
  • The candidate will be required to report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
  • The candidate will be expected to analyse and troubleshoot inventory control issues in a timely manner.
  • The candidate will be required to perform inventory control to ensure optimal inventory levels.

  • The candidate will be responsible for checking date-sensitive products for expiration and facilitating product removal or transfer as needed.
