Job Description

  • The candidate must register arriving guests and assign rooms.
  • The candidate must process group arrivals and departures.
  • The candidate must take, cancel, and change room reservations.
  • The candidate must provide information on hotel facilities and services.
  • The candidate must provide general information about points of interest in the area.
  • The candidate must process guests’ departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • The candidate must balance cash, prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and related financial documentation.
  • The candidate must maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • The candidate must follow emergency and safety procedures.
  • The candidate must perform clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • The candidate must answer telephone calls and relay messages accurately.
  • The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • The candidate must contact customers to deliver requested wakeup calls.
  • The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate must be bilingual.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
