Job Description

• The candidate must provide bedside and personal care.
• The candidate must administer medications.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with bathing and other personal hygiene activities.
• The candidate will be responsible for assisting in regular exercise, such as walking.
• The candidate must perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• The candidate must provide companionship.
• The candidate must provide personal care.
• The candidate must prepare and serve healthy meals.
• The candidate must accompany clients to appointments and social outings.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must have a First Aid Certificate and a Personal Support Worker Certificate.

Work setting

• The candidate must work in the employer’s home, providing personalized support in a private residential environment.
