Job Description
- Candidates will have to work under the Home Care Resource Coordinator as an individual or home care team.
- Candidates will also be responsible for the provision of personal care and home support to an individual or group of home care clients as assigned.
- They’re also appointed, maintain plans of care and provide paraprofessional services to assist the frail.
- Candidates will have to handle physically disabled, and mentally disabled patients when required.
Job requirement
- Candidates must have completed 12-grade education.
- Candidates must have a dedicated Home Care Attendant Certificate with a community component from a recognized post-secondary institute.
- Candidates must attain previous experience working with the elderly or disabled in a community setting is preferred.
- Candidates must attain previous experience working in home care programs.
- Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to work independently and as a team member too.
- They must have demonstrated the ability to apply critical thinking skills.
Work setting
- Candidates must attain proficiency in both official languages is essential for target and designated bilingual positions.
- Candidates must attain good work and attendance record to be eligible for this post.
