Job requirement
- Candidates must be Heavy Equipment Technician certified to be eligible for this post.
- They must attain dedicated experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
- Candidates must attain experience in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic systems.
- They must attain dedicated experience in the maintenance and repair of air brake systems.
- Candidates must attain knowledge of preventative maintenance principles, procedures, and regulations.
- They must attain knowledge of troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques.
- Candidates must attain the ability to read mechanical drawings.
- They must attain the ability to communicate effectively and be able to manage conflicting priorities to multitask and work under pressure.
- Candidates must attain possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license or equivalent to be eligible for this post.
Work setting
- They must attain a willingness to wear identifier clothing and personal protective equipment to be eligible for this post.
