Job Description
- The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
- The candidate must develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals.
- The candidate must diagnose livestock health issues.
- The candidate must disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses.
- The candidate must groom horses in preparation for competitions and shows.
- The candidate must handle animals.
- The candidate must mix the fertilizer.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must perform animal grooming activities.
- The candidate must feed and tend animals.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must ensure farm safety and biosecurity procedures are followed.
- The candidate must formulate feeding programs.
- The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to supervise 1 to 2 people.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
- The candidate should be reliable.
