Job Description
- The candidate must handle bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery.
- The candidate must obtain articles for customers from shelves or the stockroom.
- The candidate must order stock.
- The candidate must record incoming stock.
- The candidate must keep stock clean and in order.
- The candidate must price items using stamps or stickers according to the price list.
- The candidate must perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors.
- The candidate must operate a cash register.
- The candidate must perform order picking.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- A candidate with experience is an asset.
Work setting
- The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
- The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
- The candidate must work from a remote location, performing their duties from a site other than the employer’s central office while maintaining productivity and communication.
