Job Description

  • The candidate must bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery.
  • The candidate will be responsible for carrying customer purchases to the parking lot and packing orders into customers’ vehicles.
  • The candidate will be responsible for obtaining items from the stockroom or shelves for customers.
  • The candidate must direct customers to the location of the desired articles.
  • The candidate must unpack products received from the store and count, weigh, or sort items.
  • The candidate will be responsible for stocking shelves and display areas.
  • The candidate must perform general cleaning duties (such as sweeping and mopping floors).
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating an electrical pallet jack.
  • The candidate must be able to operate a forklift.
  • The candidate must provide excellent customer service.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
  • The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be reliable.
  • The candidate should be a good team player.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in a supermarket/grocery store self-service shop offering a wide variety of food, beverages, and household products, organized into sections.
