Job Description
- The candidate must bag, box, or parcel purchases for customers, for shipment or delivery.
- The candidate will be responsible for carrying customer purchases to the parking lot and packing orders into customers’ vehicles.
- The candidate will be responsible for obtaining items from the stockroom or shelves for customers.
- The candidate must direct customers to the location of the desired articles.
- The candidate must unpack products received from the store and count, weigh, or sort items.
- The candidate must maintain a computerized stock inventory.
- The candidate will be responsible for ordering stock.
- The candidate will be responsible for recording incoming stock.
- The candidate must stock shelves and display areas.
- The candidate must maintain a clean and orderly stock.
- The candidate must price the items according to the price list using stickers or stamps.
- The candidate must perform general cleaning duties (such as sweeping and mopping floors).
- The candidate will be responsible for processing electronic transactions using computer equipment.
- The candidate must be able to operate a cash register.
- The candidate will be responsible for operating an electrical pallet jack.
- The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English.
- There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
