Job description
- The candidate will be required to transplant seedlings.
- The candidate will be required to rooted cuttings.
- The candidate will be required to report signs of insect on plants.
- The candidate will be required to disease damage.
- The candidate will be required to pot and re-pot plants.
- The candidate will be required to plant bulbs.
- The candidate will be required to plant seeds.
- The candidate will be required to mix and prepare soils.
- The candidate will be required to assist in pruning trees.
- The candidate will be required to prune shrubs and plants.
- The candidate will be required to water plants, lawns and gardens.
- The candidate will be required to tend to plants.
- The candidate will be required to tend to lawns or gardens.
- The candidate will be required to cut flowers.
- The Work Site Environment is hot.
- No smoking is allowed in the work environment.
- The work location is a rural area.
Requirements
- The candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- The candidate should have an experience of at least 7 months to less than 1 year.
- The candidate should have equipment and machinery experience.
- The candidate should have experience in handling light trucks.
- The candidate should have experience in handling irrigation pumps and equipment.
- The candidate should have experience in handling Christmas tree cutting machine or equipment.
- The candidate should have experience in handling forklift.
- The candidate should have their own Steel-toed safety boots.
- Travel expenses will not be paid by employer.
- Public transportation is not available.
- The work will involve a combination of sitting, standing and walking which the candidate should be comfortable with.
- The work will be physically demanding and hence the candidate should be comfortable with it.
- The work will involve a combination of bending, crouching and kneeling which the candidate should be comfortable with.
- The candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and hence should be comfortable with it.
- The candidate should be comfortable in a faced paced environment.
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy load.
- The candidate should be comfortable with repetitive tasks.
