Job Description
- The candidate must estimate the costs of materials and the time required to complete graphic designs and illustrations.
- The candidate will have to modify existing illustrations.
- The candidate will be expected to coordinate all aspects of print, audio-visual, or electronic production.
- The candidate must consult with clients to determine the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
- The candidate must determine the best medium for producing the desired visual effect as well as the most appropriate vehicle for communication.
- The candidate will be expected to create graphic elements that meet the objectives of the clients.
- The candidate must create guidelines for illustrators or photographers.
- The candidate must prepare sketches, layouts, and graphic elements.
- The candidate must use existing photo and illustration banks, as well as typography guides.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- The candidate must have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a programme lasting 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate should be client focused.
- The candidate must be capable of acting on their own initiative.
- The candidate should be a good team player.
