Job Description
- The candidate must interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
- The candidate must trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, such as crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, and vista pruning.
- The candidate must manage landscaping projects.
- The candidate must prepare conceptual designs.
- The candidate must prepare proposals.
- The candidate must estimate costs.
- The candidate must survey and evaluate designated sites.
- The candidate must prepare contracts and tenders.
- The candidate must water and care for plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
- The candidate must apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products.
- The candidate must apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions.
- The candidate will be responsible for directing crews that maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes.
- The candidate will be responsible for inspecting trees and shrubs to identify problems and diseases.
- The candidate will be responsible for removing trees.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
- The candidate must be well-organized.
- The candidate should be reliable.

- The candidate must be punctual.
