Job Description
- The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
- The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing livestock health issues.
- The candidate must be able to handle animals.
- The candidate will be responsible for milking goats.
- The candidate must monitor animal health.
- The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
- The candidate must perform animal grooming activities.
- The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
- The candidate must shear the sheep.
- The candidate will be responsible for treating livestock health issues.
- The candidate will be responsible for the weeding.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
- The candidate must detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
- A candidate with experience is an asset.

Work site environment
- Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, goat farming, hay farming, livestock combination farming, other grain farming, other miscellaneous animal farming, other miscellaneous crop farming, sheep farming, horse breeding, and livestock farming.
- The candidate must work in environments that are dusty, hot, wet/damp, and cold/refrigerated.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
- The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
- The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.

Experience and specialization
Equipment and machinery experience
- The candidate must have experience in operating feeding and watering systems, seed drills, storage and silage systems, tractors, combine harvesters, farm trucks, forage equipment, haying equipment, loaders, planting equipment, swathers, tillage equipment, forklifts, and hand tools.

- The candidate must specialize in agricultural livestock service, horses, and animal husbandry.
