Job Description

• The candidate must estimate repair costs.
• The candidate must inspect and test engines in order to diagnose and isolate faults.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace mechanical or electrical system components.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance and service.
• The candidate must advise customers on the work performed and the condition of the equipment.
• The candidate must repair and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
• The candidate must review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired equipment to ensure proper performance.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate will be expected to provide on-site customer service.
• The candidate must work in a shop.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a remote location.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have prior experience with power tools and hand tools.
