Job Description

The candidate must follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology, and cover crops.
The candidate must monitor animal health.
The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
The candidate must ensure compliance with farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
The candidate must maintain work records and logs.
The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to supervise 3 to 4 people.
The candidate must be well-organized.
The candidate should be a good team player.

On site

The candidate must complete work at the physical location, with no option to work remotely.

Work site environment

Farm operations include chicken farming, corn farming, other grain farming, wheat farming, and poultry/egg production.
The candidate must work in a dusty environment.
The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work setting

The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.

The candidate must have experience operating a tractor and a forklift.
