Job Description

The candidate must direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
The candidate will be responsible for hiring, supervising, and scheduling staff.
The candidate must organize the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns.
The candidate must provide technical advice to resolve work-related issues and improve the property’s overall value and functionality.
The candidate must schedule events, programs, and activities.
The candidate must schedule work.
The candidate must plan and direct grounds maintenance.
The candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and supervising landscape construction projects.
The candidate must maintain work records and logs.
The candidate must tender and administer contracts.
The candidate must read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

The candidate must request or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
The candidate must supervise nursery and greenhouse workers.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate must be able to supervise 5 to 10 people.
The candidate should be client-focused.
The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
The candidate must be capable of acting independently.
The candidate should have good judgemental skills.
The candidate should be a good team player.
The candidate must be flexible.

Worksite environment

The candidate will be required to work extended hours in an outdoor environment.

The candidate must have experience in operating pick-up trucks, tractors and skid steers.
