Job Description

The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
The candidate must operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
The candidate must package take-out food.
The candidate must portion and wrap foods.
The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
The candidate must serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
The candidate must stock refrigerators and salad bars.
The candidate must take customers’ orders.
The candidate must clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cabinets, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
The candidate must handle and store cleaning products.
The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
The candidate must provide excellent customer service.
The candidate must handle cash transactions accurately.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
A candidate with experience is an asset.
The candidate must hold a Food Safety Certificate, and a Safe Food Handling Certificate.
The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
