Job Description

  • Serves as a financial advisory role focused on personal money management.
  • Full time permanent job with fixed weekday schedule (Monday to Friday).
    Office based role with in-person client interaction.
  • Covers both one-on-one guidance and group education sessions.
  • Focus on maintaining long-term client connections.
  • Part of a structured and purpose-driven work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client accounts and make sure they follow service and regulatory standards.
  • Work with managers to set goals, plans, and business activities.
  • You need to train your skills through session work where you will establish better connections with clients and partners.
  • Offer financial counseling services to armed forces members and their families.
  • Establish referral networks which allow us to send clients to specialized professional services when required.
  • Develop and apply plans to improve financial habits.
  • Guide clients regularly and review their financial progress.
  • Follow company rules, maintain licenses, and meet industry standards.

Requirements

  • The candidate needs to possess a business-related degree or diploma which includes fields such as business and commerce and economics and similar disciplines.
  • The individual may have a Certified Financial Counsellor designation as an added value.
  • The role requires candidates to possess experience in lending and financial counselling and related fields.
  • The candidate should have experience dealing with financial disputes and negotiations.
  • The individual must be able to assess cases and refer clients to other professionals.
  • The role requires candidates to show their work in presenting and conducting training sessions.
  • The candidate must show his or her ability to interact within a team.
  • Can interact in both English and French as is required for the role.
