Job Description

  • As a Financial Advisor employed within Personal and Commercial Banking by RBC, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and expanding strong long-term relationships with clients within the community.
  • You will provide clients with personal advice both through face to face contact and using digital communications to meet their individual needs.
  • Working in a collaborative team atmosphere, you will have access to a range of financial planners and business banking partners to support your efforts to provide quality advice.
  • This is a full-time, salaried position that will support several branches in Vaughan.
  • A typical work week will consist of 37.5 hours and reflect the retail branch’s hours of operation.

Responsibilities

  • Creating a positive impression on customers through the establishment of a trusting relationship based upon empathy, understanding, and effective communication.
  • Valuing the client’s opinion when making financial decisions and following through to address the client’s needs in a timely manner.
  • Supporting client acquisition and retention initiatives within the local community.
  • Working closely with company experts to provide integrated, customized financial products and services.
  • Should develop customer oriented work.

Requirements

  • Fundamentally Accredited Mutual Funds (IFC or CSC).
  • Fundamentally Complete DFSA Designation.
  • A minimum of four years’ Financial Services Sales Experience (Credit & Investments).
  • A minimum of four years’ Financial Services Sales Experience (Building Client Relationships/Trust).
  • Digital Proficiency on Multiple Platforms.
  • Bilingual (advantage).
  • A Significant History of Community Involvement (advantage).
