We are in search of a self-disciplined individual with outstanding interpersonal skills. The selected applicant will be required to join and take on their responsibilities at the earliest. Job Description

  • The candidate must prepare the general ledger.
  • The candidate must prepare a journal entry.
  • The candidate must manage accounts receivable.
  • The candidate must manage accounts payable.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing trial balances.
  • The candidate must prepare bank reconciliations.
  • The candidate must review behaviour concerning deposits and withdrawals, overdraws, defaults, dishonoured payments, and spending patterns.
  • The candidate must invoice clients.
  • The candidate will be responsible for collecting payments from debtors.
  • The candidate must evaluate fixed assets and depreciation.
  • The candidate must store, update, and retrieve financial data.
  • The candidate must perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing and record systems.
  • The candidate must perform general office duties.
  • The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
  • The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.
  • The candidate must prepare reports.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.
  • The ability to communicate in Arabic is an asset for the candidate.
  • The candidate must be able to multitask.
  • The candidate should be accurate.
  • The candidate should be client-focused.
  • The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
  • The candidate must be well-organized.
  • The candidate should be reliable.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in the private sector in any office or work area that is not open to the public in the ordinary course of business except by individual invitation.
  • The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.

Experience and specialization

Computer and technology knowledge

  • The candidate must be knowledgeable about Sage Accounting Software, Word processing software, Accounting software, Presentation software, Simply Accounting, Spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Internet and MS Windows.

Bookkeeping and accounting

  • The candidate must have experience in manual bookkeeping and accounting.
