Job Description

  • The candidate will be required to take customers’ orders
  • The candidate will be required to stock serving stations, cupboards, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils and also required to store salad bars in refrigerator.
  • The candidate will be required to serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • The candidate will be in charge of wrapping and portioning foods.
  • The candidate will be in charge of packaging take-out food.
  • The candidate must prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • The candidate will be required to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for keeping records of the quantities of food used.
  • The candidate will be required to accept payments from customers.
  • The candidate will be responsible for monitoring the quantity of food that is prepared and the portions that are served.
  • The candidate must ensure that the food is served in the proper portion, arrangement, and garnish.
  • The candidate will be expected to provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • The candidate will be responsible for delivering food & beverage in a timely manner
  • The candidate will be expected to create inventory lists and place ingredient orders.

Dishwashing Skills

  • The candidate will be responsible for cleaning machines and appliances used in the kitchen, such as coffee makers, pots, and pans, mixers, etc.
  • The candidate will be required to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • The candidate will be required to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units
  • The candidate will be responsible for operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware.
  • The candidate will be required to place and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas.
  • The candidate must not touch dirty dishes before touching clean dishes without first washing their hands.
  • The candidate will be in charge of keeping trash cans clean throughout the shift and removing full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
  • The candidate will be responsible for sweeping and mopping floors, especially in the event that items are broken or spilled.

Kitchen Helpers Skills

  • The candidate will be responsible for washing, peeling and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • The candidate will be required to sharpen kitchen knives.
  • The candidate will be responsible for removing kitchen garbage and trash regularly.
  • The candidate will be required to handle and store cleaning products.
  • The candidate will be required to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment.
  • The candidate will be responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for sweeping, mopping, washing and polishing floors.
  • The candidate will be responsible for preparing dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
  • The candidate will be required to make sure that the kitchen equipment are well cleaned after use.
  • The candidate must ensure that there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.

Food Service Helpers Specific Skills

  • The candidate will be responsible for restocking condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • The candidate will be required to load buspans and trays.
  • The candidate must clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • The candidate will be required to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables.

Equipment and Machinery Experience

  • The candidate should have prior experience using a grill, a deep fryer and a Conventional oven.
  • The candidate must be able to operate Electronic cash register.
