Job description
- Will be required to plant crops.
- Will be required to cultivate crops.
- Will be required to irrigate crops.
- Will be required to feed and tend animals.
- Will be required to maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- Will be required to harvest crops.
- Will be required to fertilize and spray crops.
- Will be required to examine produce for quality.
- Will be required to prepare produce for market.
- Will be required to write daily basic progress reports.
Requirements
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required to apply for this position.
- No prior experience is required to apply for this position.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with cabbage.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with cucumbers.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with bell peppers.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with garlic.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with onions.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with cauliflowers.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with strawberries.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with tomatoes.
- Should have knowledge about and be able to work with carrots.
- Should have experience in hand harvesting vegetables.
- Should have knowledge about harvesting seedlings and greenhouse cleaning.
- Should have knowledge about weeding, seed cutting and deleafing.
- Should have knowledge about fruit and vegetable combination farming.
- Should have knowledge about wheat farming.
- Should be able to manage alpacas.
- Should have good hand-eye coordination.
- Should have the ability to distinguish between colours.
- Should be able to discriminate between sounds.
- Will be required to work within tight deadlines.
- Will be required to work outdoors.
- Will be required to work in hot areas.
- Will be required to work in wet or damp areas.
- Will be required to work in areas filled with odours.
- Will be required to work in/on water.
