Job Description

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in the French language.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

• Farm operations include oilseed (except soybean) farming, other grain farming and other miscellaneous crop farming.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must be able to work in all weather conditions.

Work setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work from a remote location, the practice of employees doing their jobs from a location other than a central office operated by the employer.

Experience and specialization

Equipment and machinery experience

• The candidate must have experience operating automated irrigation systems, fertilizer applicators, tractors, farm trucks, loaders, planting equipment, and swathers.

Automated systems experience

• The candidate must have experience with automated systems for bulk grain or feed handling.

Area of specialization

• The candidate must specialize in the area of agricultural crop service.
