Job Description

The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
The candidate must clear fields of wood and stones.
The candidate must develop and guide the behaviour of farm animals.
The candidate must diagnose livestock health issues.
The candidate must disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses.
The candidate will be responsible for greenhouse cleaning.
The candidate must handle animals.
The candidate must monitor animal health.
The candidate must perform animal grooming activities.
The candidate must perform livestock feeding.
The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
The candidate must prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving.
The candidate must supervise milking operations to ensure workers perform the work correctly.
The candidate must treat livestock health issues.
The candidate must perform the weeding task.
The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
The candidate must harvest crops.
The candidate must feed and tend to animals.
The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
The candidate must ensure compliance with farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
The candidate must milk cows.
The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
The candidate must perform general farm duties.
The candidate must assist animal breeders in handling and nurturing animals.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be bilingual.
The candidate must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
