Job Description
- The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
- The candidate will be responsible for fertilizing and spraying crops.
- The candidate must harvest crops.
- The candidate will be responsible for feeding and tending animals.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
- The candidate will be responsible for cleaning and lubricating machinery and equipment.
- The candidate will be responsible for constructing and repairing wooden or metal supports and structures.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in English language.
- There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
- Candidate having experience is an asset.
Work site environment
- Farm operations include beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, other grain farming, and turkey farming.
Work setting
- The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
- The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
