Job Description
- The candidate must consider water saturation, light, and temperature when planning for crop growth and development.
- The candidate must cut crops.
- The candidate must direct agricultural crop deleafing activities.
- The candidate must divide freshly harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
- The candidate must follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology, and cover crops.
- The candidate will be responsible for guiding growing shoots into optimal development positions.
- The candidate must implement soil fertility programs.
- The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the activities of clearing the fields.
- The candidate must perform the weeding.
- The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting.
- The candidate must coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
- The candidate must supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
- The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
- The candidate must perform general farm duties.
Job Requirements
- The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
- The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related industry.
Work site environment
- The candidate’s relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee’s relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company’s offices or other work locations as required.
