Job Description

  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers.
  • The candidate must ensure workers follow farm safety and biosecurity procedures.
  • The candidate will be responsible for supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations.
  • The candidate must perform general farm duties.
  • The candidate must maintain an inventory of stored material.
  • The candidate must maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
  • The candidate must develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs.

Job Requirements

  • The candidate should be fluent in the English language.
  • There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Work site environment

  • Farm operations include grain, oil, and forage crop production.

Work setting

  • The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
  • The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
