Job Description

The candidate will be required to maintain quality control and production records
The candidate will be required to co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
The candidate will be required to develop work schedules and establish procedures.
The candidate will be required to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties.
The candidate should have knowledge and capability to operate farm machinery, equipment and buildings.
The candidate would be responsible for maintaining work records and logs.
The candidate will be expected to supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programmes.
The candidate should be responsible in managing overall operations of farm.
The candidate will be expected to help with the recruitment and training of new employees.
The candidate will be required to carry out repair and maintenance work for farm machinery and equipment if and when required.
The candidate will be expected to plan and coordinate planting, cultivating, and crop harvesting activities.
The candidate will be expected to keep track of the inventory of stored materials.
The candidate should be proficient in handling farm machineries like Tractor, Farm truck etc.
The candidate should ensure farm activities comply with government regulations.
The candidate should ensure uninterrupted water supply to the farm.
The candidate will be expected to analyse current operations, crops, livestock, staff, and financial documents and make recommendations for improvements.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all employees follow health and safety regulations.
The candidate will be expected to build professional networks and stay up to date on agricultural science developments.
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring staff rosters, hours, and performance, as well as resolving any grievances.
The candidate will be required to ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.

Job Requirements

The candidate should be fluent in English language.
The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
The candidate should be a good team player with enough interpersonal and judge-mental skills.

The candidate must be able to supervise 16 to 20 people.
