  • The candidate must perform preventative and routine maintenance on farm equipment and tools.
  • The candidate should have prior experience operating a tractor, tillage equipment, a swather, a sprayer or duster, a seed drill, a loader, a farm truck, a combine harvester etc
  • The candidate should have clean past driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations.
  • The candidate will be required to drive and control farm equipment to till soil and plant, cultivate, and harvest crops.
  • The candidate will be expected to carry out general farm duties.
  • The candidate will be expected to keep work records and logs.
  • The candidate must examine the quality of the product and get it ready for the market.
  • The candidate would be responsible for detecting disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
  • The candidate must ensure that farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
  • The candidate would be responsible for protecting crops from weeds and pests by taking appropriate actions like spraying pesticides etc.
  • The candidate will be required to work in wet or damp, dusty, hot and cold environments.
  • The candidate should be willing to work in an outdoor environment for long hours, including tolerance for pests and thorns.
  • The candidate will be required to work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
  • The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
